React Starter

This React starter example displays a large “Hello World PIZZA PARTY!” message in the browser using a plain text element. It imports a static array of car records from a separate module and parses it into JavaScript objects. The page is rendered via a simple HTML file with inline styling, and the message is set through the JavaScript DOM API `document.getElementById()`. While the code includes car data, it does not currently visualize or display any of that data, leaving the dataset unused.

HTML Starter

This example shows a minimal HTML page displaying the text “Hello HTML” centered on a white background. It uses a plain HTML document with embedded CSS to set the page layout and font size. The code does not include any JavaScript libraries or data sources, serving as a bare-bones starting point for visualization projects. Its straightforward structure contrasts with the React Starter example linked in the README, which introduces component-based rendering.

React Starter

This example displays a single word, the make of the first car in a hardcoded JSON array, as massive text on a webpage. It uses React Starter code, though the visible logic relies on plain JavaScript and the DOM API: `cars.js` defines and exports a parsed array, while `index.js` imports it and sets the `textContent` of a pre element with the ID `messageMe`. The rendering approach is a simple static HTML page with CSS styling, not a dynamic visualization.

HTML Starter

This example shows a minimal HTML page that displays the text “Hello HTML” centered on a plain white background. It uses a single `div` element styled with CSS to set the text alignment and font size to 13em. The page relies on core HTML and CSS only, with no external libraries or data sources. It serves as a barebones template for starting a visualization project, demonstrating the simplest possible web rendering setup.
