Fork of Migrant Deaths Linked Views with Fast Brushing
This linked-view visualization plots migrant deaths and missing persons on a natural Earth projection map, with a time-series histogram below. A brush on the histogram filters the map’s circles, which are scaled by the square-root of total dead and missing. The code uses D3 v5 modules like `geoNaturalEarth1`, `geoPath`, `geoGraticule`, `scaleSqrt`, `scaleTime`, and `brushX`, integrated within React’s `useMemo` and `useEffect` hooks. Data is loaded via `d3.csv` from a Missing Migrants Project subset, with SVG rendering for both the map and histogram.
