Cars Report
This example demonstrates a simple text-based report of used cars, filtering a static JSON dataset to display only vehicles priced under $2,000. It shows how asynchronous JavaScript loads data with a simulated delay via `Promise` and `setTimeout`, then formats each car’s year, make, model, and price into a readable string. The code uses `getCars()` to fetch the inline JSON array, `generateReport()` with `filter` and `map` to process entries, and a custom `formatCar` function to build the output, which is inserted into an HTML `<pre>` element. The visualization relies on standard JavaScript object manipulation and module exports, with no external charting libraries.
