Fork of Loading and Parsing CSV Data

This example displays the size and structure of a CSS Named Colors CSV dataset, showing the file size in kilobytes, row count, and column count as large text. It uses D3 v5’s `d3.csv` method to load and parse the remote CSV file, then accesses the parsed data’s `length` and `columns` properties. The code also includes commented alternatives using `fetch`, `async`/`await`, and `d3.csvParse`, illustrating different approaches to loading tabular data.

smile

This example shows a stylized, yellow smiley face composed of a circular background, two eyes, and a smiling mouth, all rendered as SVG primitives centered on a canvas. The face is built from React components (`BackgroundCircle`, `Eyes`, `Mouth`) that use D3's `arc` generator to create the mouth path with specified inner and outer radii and angular extents. The code defines fixed dimensions and offsets for the face elements, then translates the SVG group to the center of the 960 by 500 viewport. React 18 and D3 7 are loaded via CDN, with the app rendered into the DOM.
