Coronavirus Deaths by Country over Time (with Voronoi Hover)
This example displays coronavirus death totals over time for multiple countries as a log-scale line chart, using data from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Dataset. Hovering over any point triggers a Voronoi overlay to highlight the nearest data point, illuminating the corresponding country’s line and displaying a tooltip with the date, country name, and death count. Built with React and D3 v5, the visualization uses `scaleTime`, `scaleLog`, and `line` generators to draw paths, while `d3.Delaunay.from` constructs the Voronoi cell for hover detection.
