Projekt Serbien
A dark-themed interactive timeline visualizes the Serbian protest movement of 2024, plotting events chronologically along a glowing central line. Events are color-coded by actor and severity, with government actions on one side and protest movement activities on the other, while central events disrupt the line’s path. Hovering reveals tooltips, and clicking expands detailed descriptions. Built with Svelte and SVG, the visualization uses `d3.scaleTime()` for positioning and collision detection to adjust event spacing dynamically. Data originates from a structured JSON file containing event dates, actors, and categories.
