Smiley Face Part I

A static SVG chart shows a grey circle with a yellow outline, nearly filling the frame, plus two smaller yellow circles positioned as eyes. The piece is titled "Smiley Face Part I," suggesting the start of a larger sequence. The code renders these shapes directly within an HTML body using raw SVG elements, while a React component, defined with `ReactDOM.render`, also draws a similar circle. D3's `arc` API is referenced in the JavaScript, though no arc is visible in the final output, and the chart uses a fixed 960×500 viewport.

Fork of HTML Starter

This example displays a single large circle rendered inside an SVG element, with no accompanying text or additional visual elements. The circle is created using a plain SVG `<circle>` tag with a radius of 500 units, positioned relative to the SVG viewport. The page uses minimal HTML and CSS, with no JavaScript libraries or external dependencies beyond the standard browser APIs. The rendering approach relies entirely on native SVG markup, making it a bare-bones starting point for exploring how SVG shapes behave within an HTML document structure.

Fork of Hello HTML

This example displays a single large circle at the center of an SVG canvas, with no other visual elements or interaction. The SVG is created directly in an HTML file using inline markup, defining a 960-by-500 viewport and a circle with a radius of 100 pixels. The visualization relies solely on native SVG elements rather than any JavaScript libraries, making it a minimal demonstration of how geometric shapes can be rendered in a browser. The source code is plain HTML with no external data or styling, serving as a basic starting point for more complex visualizations.

Fork of Hello HTML

This example demonstrates a blank HTML page, serving as the most basic starting point for a web-based visualization. It contains no data, graphics, or interactive elements; the body of the document is completely empty. The code relies solely on standard HTML structure with a `<head>` and `<title>` to define the page, and does not include any external libraries such as D3.js. It represents a minimal template from which a viewer could build more complex charts or graphics.
