Loading and parsing CSV date

This example demonstrates fetching a remote CSV file and parsing its contents using JavaScript's built-in `fetch` API, with the data loaded from a GitHub Gist containing CSS named colors. The page also illustrates a data manipulation workflow: an array of objects with locale, placement ID, and enableWWU fields is transformed into a nested grouping structure, then reduced to extract specific placement IDs. The code shows asynchronous text retrieval via `fetchText` and console logging of intermediate results, though no visual rendering occurs beyond the HTML skeleton.

Smiley Face Part 1

A grid of 18 randomly generated smiley faces fills the SVG canvas. Each face uses a yellow background circle, two eyes, and a mouth rendered as an annulus arc. The code composes faces from React components, with dimensions and spacing randomized per face. It leverages React’s component model, D3’s `arc` for the mouth path, and SVG for rendering, producing a playful, varied display.
