Let's make a face with d3.js!
This example uses D3.js to display racial demographics of police killings, with each race presented as a line of text where the percentage is sized proportionally and colored distinctly. The visualization uses D3 scales (`d3.scaleLinear`) to map data indices to font sizes and colors, and builds the text elements with `select`, `append`, and `tspan` for styled substrings. Rendered as an SVG within a React framework, the graphic centers the text block in the viewport and presents the data without additional interactivity.
