Organization Graph Diagram

This example shows a simple three-node organization graph, displaying relationships between individuals as circles connected by lines. The diagram uses a force-directed simulation to position the nodes and links dynamically. It is built with D3 v7, specifically using `d3.forceSimulation` with `forceManyBody`, `forceLink`, and `forceCenter` to handle layout, while SVG elements are bound to the data and updated on each simulation tick. The graph moves and settles into a balanced arrangement, though the current code only demonstrates a chain of connections without labels or additional styling.

Force Directed Graph Starter

Three circles representing Alice, Bob, and Carol form a small network with two directed links. The visualization shows a basic force-directed layout where nodes repel each other, links act as springs, and a centering force keeps the graph anchored mid-canvas. The positions update continuously during the simulation ticks. Built with D3 v7, the example uses `d3.forceSimulation`, `d3.forceManyBody`, `d3.forceLink`, and `d3.forceCenter` on an SVG canvas, rendering nodes as circles and links as lines with coordinates from the simulation state.
