scatter plot

This scatter plot example serves as a basic introduction to D3 version 7, displaying the text "Hello D3 version 7" in the center of the page. The code uses the `select` and `csv` methods from the D3 library to load an automobile MPG dataset from a VizHub URL and logs the parsed data to the browser console. While the visualization itself does not render any points, it demonstrates the initial setup for loading external CSV data and preparing it for future scatter plot creation. The example uses standard D3.js v7 APIs for DOM selection and data fetching.

Fork of HTML Starter

This example displays the text “Hello HTML!” as a large, centered message using a custom CSS class. The page is built with a minimal HTML structure that applies styling through an embedded style tag and relies on plain JavaScript-less static markup. Using the DOM’s `div` element, it demonstrates fundamental CSS properties like `font-size` and `text-align`. The code serves as a basic starter template, illustrating how HTML and CSS work together without external libraries or frameworks.
