Cars Report

This example demonstrates a simple text-based car report. It displays a list of cars filtered by price, showing their year, make, model, and price. The page initially shows “Loading…” while a simulated two-second delay fetches the car data. Using JavaScript modules, the code parses a hardcoded JSON array, filters cars under $2,500, and formats each entry with the `formatCar` function. The final report is rendered as plain text inside an HTML `<pre>` element.

Cars Report

This example demonstrates a JavaScript data-processing pipeline that generates a text report of cars priced under $2,000. The page initially displays “Loading…” before fetching a hard-coded array of car objects from a mocked asynchronous `getCars` function after a two-second delay. The `generateReport` module filters the array, formats each entry using the `formatCar` function to produce a string like “2000 Honda Accord: $2800,” and joins the results. The final output is rendered to an HTML `<pre>` element, showcasing fundamental JavaScript object literals, array methods, and module imports.

Cars Report

A short tutorial demonstrates asynchronous data loading and report generation for a used-car dataset. A hardcoded JSON array is parsed and returned through a Promise with a two-second delay. The page displays a loading message, then uses `generateReport` to produce a text summary of the five vehicles, filtering or highlighting those priced at or above $2,000. The example showcases JavaScript objects, arrays, Promises, and ES modules, with the final output rendered into a preformatted HTML element.

Cars Report

This example displays a world map of cities with populations over 50,000, using data from Simplemaps’ World Cities Database and country boundaries from World Atlas TopoJSON. It renders the map with d3.geoPath, adding graticules and styled land and sphere fills. The page also incorporates a car dataset, parsing JSON with JSON.parse and outputting the first car’s make into a pre element, while CSS styles the map and text with Poppins font and circular markers.

Cars Report

This example displays a single word, "Cars Report," rendered at a massive font size on a blank page, with no interactive elements or data visualizations present. The minimal React-based setup loads a precompiled `bundle.js` into an HTML page that contains only the title text and basic centering styles. No data source, charting library, or rendering API is used; the code relies solely on static HTML and CSS for its visual output. The page serves as a bare-bones starter template rather than a functional data report.
