Let's make a face
This example shows a stylized yellow face built entirely from basic SVG shapes: a circular head, two eyes, two rectangular eyebrows, and an arc-shaped mouth. The face is centered within the viewport, with its features positioned relative to the center using SVG transformations. The code uses D3 v5 selection and attribute methods to construct the shapes, with the mouth generated using D3’s `arc()` helper, which defines the path data for a symmetric arc based on inner and outer radii and angular start/end points.
