ILINet Flu Surveillance Data Interactive Visualization
This interactive visualization presents CDC ILINet influenza surveillance data across four coordinated panels: a line chart of weekly trends, a choropleth map of state averages, a horizontal bar chart of top states, and a multi-line chart tracking selected states over time. Built with React and D3 v5, it uses d3.scaleOrdinal for categorical coloring, d3.geoAlbersUsa and d3.geoPath for map rendering, and scroll-linked highlighting to coordinate selections across all panels. User interactions include dropdown menus for choosing metrics and the number of states displayed.
