Fork of pokemon test
This example loads Pokémon data from the PokéAPI and displays the first 649 species in a dropdown selector built with React components. The page shows a loading message until the asynchronous `d3.json` request completes, then renders a React `<select>` element populated with Pokémon names alongside metadata about the first entry. The visualization uses React state and hooks (`useState`, `useEffect`) to manage data fetching, while D3.js v7 handles the JSON request. A separate `SelectionButton` component generates the option elements, though no chart or graphical rendering is implemented beyond the basic interface.
