Smiley Face part -1

This example renders a partial smiley face using SVG, with a yellow circle for the head, two small circles for eyes, and an arc for a mouth. The face is centered on a 960 by 500 canvas, and the component leverages React for structure and D3’s `d3.arc()` API to generate the mouth’s path. Everything is drawn with SVG primitives, and the canvas dimensions and element positions are hardcoded in the React component. Halfway towards face, it shows the initial construction stage of the character.

Fork of SVG Playground

This is a minimal starter template for building SVG graphics with D3 and CSS. The page loads the d3.v6 library and an empty body, with a separate stylesheet setting a large base font size. The accompanying JavaScript file logs "Hello" and prints the d3 object to the console, confirming the library is available. The example demonstrates the basic project structure—HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—for beginning custom visualization work, though it does not yet render any data or visual elements.
