Scatter Plot

This scatter plot visualizes the population of the top 10 countries, with each bar’s length representing population size and country names on the y-axis. Built with React and D3 v5, it uses `d3.csv` to load the data, `scaleLinear` for the x-axis, and `scaleBand` for the categorical y-axis. The SVG rendering applies `axisLeft` and `axisBottom` for axes, while a custom formatter converts large numbers to abbreviations.

Making a bar chart

This bar chart displays the populations of the top 10 most populous countries, ranked from China to Mexico. Population values are read from a CSV file and scaled linearly along the x-axis, while country names are positioned on a band scale along the y-axis. The visualization uses D3 v5 APIs including `scaleLinear`, `scaleBand`, `axisLeft`, and `axisBottom`, with an SVG rendered through React. Axis tick labels are formatted using D3’s `format` function to abbreviate large numbers, and the chart is styled with blue rectangles.

HTML Cars Report

This example renders a minimal HTML page titled “Cars Report” using React, though the displayed output is plain static HTML. It shows a heading and an unordered list of two names, with one name highlighted in blue via a CSS class. The structure lives in `index.html`, styled by `styles.css`, which sets a monospace font and large font size. The page does not include any data visualization or interactive features; it solely demonstrates basic HTML markup with external styling.
