Making a Bar Chart!

This example demonstrates how to create a simple bar chart from a CSV dataset containing country populations. The data is loaded asynchronously using D3's `csv` method, which returns a promise, while the SVG container is selected and configured with `select` and `attr`. Although the current code only logs the parsed data to the console, the structure—an empty SVG with dynamic styling and referenced stylesheet—sets up the foundation for mapping population values to rectangles. The visualization leverages D3 v5 and is rendered entirely as SVG within a fixed 960×500 coordinate space.

Let's make a face with D3.js!

This example builds a yellow cartoon face from SVG shapes using D3.js v5. The face is centered via a group transform, with circles for the eyes and an arc-generated path for the mouth. D3 transitions animate the eyebrows upward and back over two seconds, while the static shapes render in a 960×500 SVG canvas. The code imports `select`, `arc`, and `rect` from the D3 library.
