Fork of Loading and Parsing CSV Data
This example demonstrates loading and parsing CSV data using D3 v5 within a React framework. It displays a large pre-formatted text element showing key statistics about the dataset: size in kilobytes, number of rows, and number of columns. The code uses `d3.csv` to fetch and parse the CSV file, then accesses the resulting data array and its `.columns` property. An alternative commented-out approach uses the Fetch API with `async`/`await` and `d3.csvParse`, while a third commented block illustrates a nested Promise-based "pyramid of doom" pattern. The data source is a Fitbit activity CSV hosted as a GitHub gist.
