First Face Using D3.js

A stylized face rendered in red on a green background uses D3.js v5 with SVG primitives. The code builds concentric circles for the head and eyes, then applies the `d3.arc` path generator to create a mouth with an inner and outer radius. All shapes are centered within an SVG of fixed dimensions using a translated group, with eye positions offset via explicit spacing values. The example demonstrates basic D3 shape generation and coordinate transforms without external data.

First Face using D3.js!

This example draws a smiling face using D3.js v5, rendered as SVG shapes within a 960x500 viewport. A red circle forms the head, while two smaller black circles serve as eyes, positioned symmetrically above the center. A mouth is created using the `d3.arc` generator with an inner and outer radius, producing a filled arc that spans a half-circle. The code imports `select` and `arc` from the D3 module, and translates a group element to the center of the SVG to position all facial features. All shapes are styled with attributes for fill and stroke, displayed against a green background.
