HTML Starter

A minimal HTML starter template renders an empty SVG canvas sized 960 by 500 pixels, providing a blank slate for D3.js visualizations. The page loads D3 v5 from a CDN and an external stylesheet that removes body margins and hides overflow, while a separate `bundle.js` script would handle any custom drawing logic. The example demonstrates the essential file structure for a D3 project, with the SVG element ready to receive graphical content.

Cars report

This example displays a large text message showing the first car’s name from a static JSON dataset. The React-based page uses the `cars.js` module to parse a hardcoded JSON array of five car records. The `index.js` file reads the first element’s `name` property and writes it to the DOM via `document.getElementById().textContent`. The rendering relies on React 16.13.1 from a CDN and a bundled JavaScript file, with styling applied through a preformatted element.
