Cars Scatter Plot
This scatter plot visualizes the relationship between horsepower and weight for 398 cars from the UCI Machine Learning Repository’s Auto MPG dataset. Each red semitransparent circle represents a car, positioned by its horsepower on the x-axis and weight on the y-axis, with gridlines and labeled axes. The code uses d3.csv to load the data, then d3.scaleLinear, d3.extent, d3.axisBottom, and d3.axisLeft to construct the scales, axes, and SVG circles. Styling comes from external CSS, and the visualization renders entirely in SVG within a fixed 960×500 canvas.
