Fork of Stylized Bar Chart

This example presents a horizontal bar chart of the ten most populous countries, using data from the United Nations World Population Prospects 2019. It employs React for component structure and d3.scaleBand and d3.scaleLinear for layout, rendering SVG rectangles via a custom Marks component. Axes are built with d3’s scale ticks, and numeric labels use d3.format to convert values to billions. The chart includes a loading state and tooltips via SVG title elements.

Fork of Rendering Data with React & D3

This visualization displays 148 CSS named colors as a radial burst, with each color represented as a wedge in a pie chart. The example uses React to manage the asynchronous loading of color data from a CSV file hosted on GitHub, while D3’s `pie`, `arc`, and `csv` utilities calculate the arc paths and parse the data. The active chart renders an SVG with each path filled by its corresponding hex value, demonstrating a seamless integration of React’s state management with D3’s geometric computations.
