Smoothed Daily Coronavirus Cases Line Chart

A line chart visualizes daily confirmed coronavirus cases over time for the top 20 countries by cumulative cases, with each country's trajectory smoothed via 30 iterations of a repeated averaging blur technique on the `deathDaily` values. The display uses a logarithmic y-axis and an SVG rendering with React, employing `d3.scaleTime` and `d3.scaleLog` for axes and `d3.line` with monotone interpolation for paths. A Voronoi overlay from `d3-delaunay` enables hover interactions that highlight the active country’s line and show a tooltip with exact case totals and dates. Data comes from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus dataset.

D3

A yellow circle with two smaller black eyes and an arc-shaped mouth forms a simple smiley face. The example uses D3 v5 selections to append SVG circles and a path to a fixed 900×500 viewport. The mouth is drawn with the `d3.arc()` generator, specifying inner and outer radii and an angle range covering half a circle. The code directly sets positional attributes, such as `cx`, `cy`, and `r`, to place each element.

HTML Starter

A minimal HTML page that displays the text “Hello HTML” centered on the screen with a very large font size. It uses a plain HTML document structure with an embedded CSS style block to control the body’s text alignment and font size. No external libraries or data sources are involved; the example demonstrates the simplest possible setup for a web page.
