Making a Bar Chart
This bar chart displays the populations of the ten most populous countries, based on 2018 estimates from the United Nations World Population Prospects. It uses D3 v5 with SVG rendering, scaling linear axes for population and band scales for country names. The code customizes the axes by removing domain lines, formatting tick labels with `d3.format` to abbreviate billions, and adding axis labels and a title. Data is loaded asynchronously from a CSV file using `d3.csv`.
