Fork of HIV/AIDS Choropleth Map
This choropleth map visualizes HIV/AIDS prevalence among adults aged 15–49 for the year 2017, using a sequential yellow-orange-red color scale to encode infection rates across countries. Built with React and D3 v5, it renders an SVG using `geoNaturalEarth1` projection and `geoPath` for country polygons, graticules, and interior boundaries. Country codes are matched via a CSV lookup to join data from the IHME dataset, with missing countries shown in gray. Data loads asynchronously through custom hooks, and the map updates based on the selected year.
