This area chart displays monthly sales totals. The chart uses an SVG rendering and is created with D3.js v7, loading its data from a remote CSV file. The visualization uses a band scale for the month categories on the x-axis and a linear scale for sales on the y-axis, with the area path filled in steelblue. Axis labels for "Month" and "Sales" are added manually using SVG text elements.

This static pie chart shows the distribution of fruit quantities. The visualization is rendered as an SVG, with each slice labeled by its corresponding fruit name. The code loads data from a CSV file hosted on a GitHub gist using `d3.csv`. It employs `d3.pie` to compute the arc segments, `d3.arc` for the path geometry, and `d3.scaleOrdinal` with `d3.schemeCategory10` for coloring. The chart is centered within a 600x400 SVG canvas, with a title placed above the plot.

This example displays a horizontal bar chart of population data for ten countries in the year 2000, sourced from a CSV file. Built with React and D3 v5, it uses `csv` to load data, `scaleBand` and `scaleLinear` for scales, and renders SVG rectangles via the `Marks` component. The chart includes axes generated by `AxisBottom` and `AxisLeft`, with formatted tick labels and tooltips showing population values.
