HTML Starter
This example displays a bare-bones HTML page with an SVG canvas and loads a CSV file containing population data for the ten most populous countries. The visualization itself is minimal, showing no graphical marks; instead, it focuses on the foundational structure for a D3 project. The code imports `select` and `csv` from D3 v5, reads the external `data.csv` file, converts the population values to numbers using `+d.population`, and logs the resulting array to the browser console. The page is styled with large text and serves as a template for building more complex charts.
