Rebrickable Lego Sets by Year
This visualization shows the cumulative number of Rebrickable LEGO sets released by year, from 1949 to 2019, as a vertical bar chart. The bars increase steadily, reflecting the growth of LEGO’s set catalog over time. Each bar’s height represents the running total for that year, with a blue fill on an SVG canvas. The code uses D3 v5’s `d3.dsv` to load the CSV data, `d3.scaleBand` for the x-axis, and `d3.scaleLinear` for the y-axis, appending rectangles with manually calculated positions and heights.
