Cars Scatter Plot

This scatter plot displays the relationship between horsepower and weight for cars from the UCI Machine Learning Repository’s Auto MPG data set. Each red, semi-transparent circle represents a car, revealing a positive correlation between the two variables. The visualization uses D3 v5 with `scaleLinear`, `axisBottom`, and `axisLeft` to construct the axes, while `csv` loads the external data. A styled title and axis labels clarify the chart, with SVG rendering and CSS controlling circle opacity and text appearance.

Cars Scatter Plot

This scatter plot visualizes the relationship between horsepower and weight for cars from the UCI Machine Learning Repository’s Auto MPG dataset. Each circle represents a car, with its position determined by d3.scaleLinear scales and its size fixed. The code uses d3.csv to load the data, d3.axisBottom and d3.axisLeft to render axes with grid lines, and appends SVG circles with a red, semi-transparent fill. Axis labels, a title, and tick styling are added via D3 selections and CSS classes.

Cars Scatter Plot

This scatter plot visualizes the relationship between horsepower and weight for cars, using data from the UCI Machine Learning Repository’s Auto MPG dataset. Red semi-transparent circles mark each car, with axes labeled and a title displayed above the plot. The visualization is built with D3 v5, using `scaleLinear` for both axes, `axisBottom` and `axisLeft` for tick marks, and SVG circles rendered via data joins. The code loads the dataset as CSV and applies margin-based layout within a 960×500 SVG canvas.
