Responding to Resize
This example demonstrates how a visualization can adapt to browser resizing, drawing a large green X that spans the entire chart container. The SVG is resized by reading the container’s clientWidth and clientHeight, then updating the SVG’s width and height attributes on every window resize event. The code uses d3.select, append, and merge to bind line data and update stroke properties, while the chart container is styled with fixed CSS positioning to fill the viewport.
