SF Arrests
This example visualizes arrests in San Francisco over the last week using d3.geoPath with a conic equal-area projection, rendered as SVG. It loads neighborhood basemaps and street GeoJSON files from the city’s SODA API, then overlays arrest data fetched via d3.json with dynamic date filtering. The map highlights neighborhood outlines on hover via CSS classes and shows tooltips, while the arrest points are drawn as semi-transparent circles.
