Scatter Plot with Small Points
This scatter plot visualizes the relationship between patient counts and mean payment amounts across healthcare resource groups, colored by therapy type and sized by clinical severity. It uses the vega-lite-api to construct the specification, with vega-lite for rendering and d3.csv from D3 v5 to load the dataset from a GitHub gist. Points are rendered with small, semi-transparent filled circles, and axes are customized via a config object that removes domain lines and adjusts font styles.
