Fork of Smoothed Daily Coronavirus Deaths by Country
This visualization shows smoothed daily coronavirus death counts over time for countries, using a logarithmic y-axis to compare trends across vastly different magnitudes. The chart is built with React and D3 v5, rendering SVG paths for each country’s time series. Hovering triggers a Voronoi overlay, created via `d3.Delaunay`, to highlight the nearest data point and display a tooltip with the country name, total deaths, and date. Death data is sourced from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Dataset and smoothed through repeated averaging via the `blur` function.
