Fork of Gun Deaths in Florida
This fork of the Florida Gun Deaths visualization shows the number of murders committed using firearms in Florida from 1989 to 2016, with the area chart filled in gray and a thick black line overlaid with white-bordered circles to mark each year’s value. The code uses d3.csv to load data from a local CSV file, d3.scaleLinear for the x and y axes, and d3.area and d3.line generators to build the paths. The y-axis is fixed to a maximum of 1000, and the x-axis is labeled by decade. Data comes from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
