Map and Bar Chart with Brushing
This example combines a bubble map and a brushing-linked bar chart to explore migrant deaths and disappearances worldwide. The map uses a square-root size scale and `d3.geoPath` with the Natural Earth projection to show total counts, while a time-series histogram displays monthly aggregates. Users brush the histogram to filter the map’s circles interactively. The visualization is built with React and D3 v5, using `d3.brushX`, `d3.bin`, and `d3.scaleTime`, and renders all elements as SVG. Data comes from the Missing Migrants Project CSV.
