Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This visualization reproduces a geometric Sol LeWitt art piece using layered horizontal and vertical stripes. It shows a grid of thin, colored bars that are visible only within two circular regions in the center of the screen—one with horizontal lines and another with vertical ones. The work uses the raw SVG DOM API to create masks, rectangles, and circle elements, defining a black-and-white mask pattern to selectively reveal each stripe set. The rendering is static, displaying 100 stripes in each direction across the full browser viewport.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates a single black circle drawn on a blank canvas using the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format. The code defines the circle with explicit `cx`, `cy`, and `r` attributes, placing it at coordinates (50, 50) with a radius of 50 within the `<svg>` element. The visualization highlights the fundamental structure of an SVG graphic, showing how basic shapes are declared directly in HTML markup. No external libraries are used, and no data source is specified; the example serves purely as a minimal illustration of SVG's core drawing syntax.
