This example demonstrates a minimal integration of React and D3, displaying the text “Hello D3 & React” centered on the page. The visualization uses a React component with a `useRef` hook to reference a div element, and a `useEffect` hook to call D3’s `select` method on that reference. The code imports `createRoot` from `react-dom/client` and `select` from D3 v7, rendered via an HTML import map.
