Customizing Axes
This bar chart displays the population of the top 10 most populous countries using 2018 estimates from the United Nations World Population Prospects 2017. It shows how D3 axes can be customized by removing domain lines, adding tick labels with custom formatting (e.g., converting "G" to "B" for billions), and rotating tick labels. The visualization uses d3.scaleLinear and d3.scaleBand for scaling, along with d3.axisBottom and d3.axisLeft for axes, rendered as SVG. Data is loaded from a CSV file and processed with d3.csv.
