Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction with D3

This visualization reproduces a Sol LeWitt art piece by layering two alternating sets of mask-applied stripes on an SVG canvas. Horizontally and vertically oriented rectangles are drawn using D3’s `select`, `append`, and `join` APIs, with each set filtered through a circular mask to reveal the intersecting bands within a central circle. The second mask inverts the first, creating a positive/negative interplay of the grid. The code relies on D3 for DOM manipulation and uses window dimensions to scale the piece to the full browser viewport.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example demonstrates a minimal D3 version 7 setup that displays the text “Hello D3 version 7” in the center of the page using a 13-em font size. The implementation uses the `select` function from D3 to target the `body` element and sets its text content, with the page importing D3 from a CDN. The code shows the basic structure of a D3 project, including an HTML file with a script tag for D3 and a separate JavaScript module that imports the select function. It serves as a simple starting point for learning D3’s core selection and DOM manipulation API.
