Fork of Bowl of Fruit - General Update Pattern Special Cases
This example demonstrates the general update pattern for adding, removing, and modifying SVG elements in response to data changes. A bowl of fruit is rendered with apples and lemons, and a single `render` function updates the visualization over time as the underlying array is mutated. Using d3 v5's `select`, `selectAll`, `merge`, and `exit` methods, the code removes an apple, replaces one with a lemon, and filters the array to delete an item. The `scaleOrdinal` function sets distinct colors and radii for each fruit type.
