This example demonstrates a minimal force-directed network visualization using D3 v7. It renders three nodes (Alice, Bob, Carol) and two links as SVG circles in a 960x500 container. The code imports `select`, `forceSimulation`, `forceManyBody`, `forceLink`, and `forceCenter` from D3, then simulates node positions with a charge force, link force, and center force. Circle positions update on each simulation tick via the `simulation.on('tick')` handler, showing the basic setup for interactive graph layouts.
