5 Buddha
Five overlapping Buddha mandalas are built from concentric rings of small triangular polygons, with each of the five figures generated through nested React array maps that repeatedly call Math.random() to produce chaotic, colorful geometry. The result is a dense, kaleidoscopic composition of semi-transparent shapes in vivid RGB colors, arranged in a square SVG canvas. The code uses five nested levels of mapping to create the layered "Buddha" forms, with random values injected into the point coordinates, fills, and rotations, resulting in an emergent, abstract visual pattern rather than a literal depiction. Rendered entirely with React and SVG, the work explores themes of repetition, chance, and the tension between order and entropy.
