This visualization displays the page counts of eight classic novels using a horizontal bar chart. The books are listed on the y-axis, while the x-axis represents the number of pages with linear scaling. The chart is rendered as SVG using d3.v5, with data loaded from a CSV file and mapped through `scaleLinear`, `scaleBand`, `axisLeft`, and `axisBottom`. Bars are appended as `rect` elements, and the example includes a modified CSS body rule with `overflow: hidden` to remove scroll bars.
