The data comes from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Dataset, processed through repeated averaging smoothing (blur) to reduce noise. Built with React and D3 v5, the code utilizes d3.scaleTime, d3.scaleLog, d3.line, and d3.Delaunay for the voronoi interaction, rendering as SVG.

This visualization displays one week of temperature data from cities around the world as multiple smooth line paths, colored by city and sorted by final temperature. It uses D3 v5 APIs including `d3.nest`, `d3.scaleTime`, `d3.scaleLinear`, `d3.scaleOrdinal`, `d3.line` with `curveBasis`, and `d3.axisLeft`/`axisBottom` to render an SVG chart with gridlines, axis labels, and a custom color legend.
