This example displays a temperature time series from the Sense Your City dataset, with a line chart mapping days to temperature values. Built with React and D3 v5, it renders SVG elements including axes and a smoothed path using D3's `line` and `curveNatural` APIs. The time axis uses `scaleTime` with formatted tick labels, while the linear temperature axis relies on `scaleLinear`.

Fork of Migrant Deaths Linked Views with Fast Brushing

This visualization links a bubble map and a date histogram to explore migrant deaths, filtering the map to show only incidents within the brushed time range. The map uses a natural Earth projection with SVG circles sized by death counts, while the histogram aggregates monthly totals. Built with React and D3 v5, it uses `d3.geoNaturalEarth1`, `d3.geoPath`, `d3.brushX`, and `scaleSqrt`. Data comes from the Missing Migrants Global dataset, with the brush interaction triggering fast, reactive updates to the map.

Smiled face PART I

This example displays a static smiley face composed of three SVG circles: a large yellow circle for the head and two smaller black circles for the eyes, all placed on a 960 by 500 canvas. The graphic is rendered using raw SVG elements defined directly in the HTML body, while a separate JavaScript file imports React and ReactDOM to render a simple “Hello JSX” heading into a root div. Although the React framework is loaded, the face itself does not rely on React components or data.
