Fork of HTML Starter
This example presents a dropdown menu listing 31 causes of death, such as Meningitis, HIV/AIDS, and Cardiovascular Diseases. The page uses a static HTML select element styled with CSS. It integrates the d3.v5 library and uses the `d3.select` API to attach a change event listener to the dropdown. When a user selects an option, the code retrieves the chosen value via `d3.select("#d3-dropdown").node().value` and logs it to the console.
