A bowl of fruit demonstrates animated transitions in D3. The visualization shows five apples rendered as red circles, with one apple turning into a lemon over time and two apples disappearing. The code uses D3 v5's data join, `scaleOrdinal` for color and radius mapping, and `selection.transition` to animate circle radius changes. SVG circles are bound to fruit objects with unique IDs, and exit transitions shrink shapes to zero before removal.

Stylized Line Chart

This stylized line chart visualizes weekly temperature trends from the Data Canvas Sense Your City dataset. It plots temperature against time using a smooth, naturally curved path rendered as an SVG. The chart is built with React, D3 v5 scales (`scaleTime`, `scaleLinear`), and the `curveNatural` interpolation. Let's Make a Face

A cartoon face composed of SVG shapes animates its eyebrows up and down. The yellow face, red-outlined circle, and black eyes and mouth are built with D3 selections and the `arc()` generator for the smile. Eyebrow motion uses chained `transition().duration(1000)` calls on a group, moving it vertically. The React starter code wraps a static D3 v5 setup, rendering into a centered SVG group on a 960 by 500 canvas.
