This bar chart displays the ten most populous countries using data from the United Nations World Population Prospects 2019, with population values on the horizontal axis and country names on the vertical axis. Built with React and D3 v5, the visualization uses `scaleBand` for the categorical y-axis and `scaleLinear` for the numeric x-axis, rendering the bars as SVG `<rect>` elements within a `<svg>` container.
