Making a bar chart

This bar chart displays the populations of the ten most populous countries, based on 2018 estimates from the United Nations World Population Prospects. It uses d3.csv to load the data and d3.select to bind it to SVG rectangles, with each bar’s height reflecting the population value. The chart includes styled axes and labels via CSS, with the axis ticks and label text formatted using D3’s selection methods. Data values are converted from thousands to absolute numbers before rendering.

Hello VizHub

A smiling face made of basic SVG shapes is drawn on a yellow circular background, with two black eyes and rectangular eyebrows. The animation demonstrates a `transition` on the eyebrows, moving them up and down in a two-second cycle. Created with d3 v5, the visualization uses the `select`, `append`, and `arc` APIs to construct the scene and a `transition` to animate the eyebrow group's transform.
